The 38th annual California Strawberry Festival is returning May 18 and 19 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura.
In the previous year, the festival attracted well over 57,000 attendees from across Southern California. The event featured diverse activities, including the opportunity to sample a variety of foods with a focus on strawberries, explore 150 booths showcasing fine arts and crafts, participate in strawberry-themed contests suitable for all ages, indulge in live entertainment across three stages, and experience fair-style carnival rides. Additionally, there was a tent dedicated to creating your own strawberry shortcake. Around 1.5 million locally picked fresh strawberries are eaten over the course of the two-day event.
Ranked among the premier festivals in the nation, the California Strawberry Festival boasts more than 40 food vendors, an exciting Ninja Nation Obstacle Course, live music, and entertainment, along with a diverse selection of over one hundred arts and crafts booths.
Tickets may be purchased at the Festival entrance gates.
